  • •Own and grow regional sales of Dealer.com products to franchise car dealerships, generating and maximizing sales revenue and customer growth in the territory.
  • •Manage and close complex sales opportunities using the Cox Auto selling approach, including consultative selling and feedback on industry trends, strategies, and challenges.
  • •Deliver and demonstrate Dealer.com solution advantages to customers and help internal partners with insights on key dealer business challenges.
  • •Build trusted relationships with dealership decision-makers and serve as the primary point of contact for Dealer.com.
  • •Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales goals, backfill territories as needed, and travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination such as a master’s degree with 4 years, PhD with 1 year, or 10 years).
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to meet safe driver requirements.
  • •5+ years selling software, advertising, or automotive software to dealerships, including experience with comparable dealership software packages (e.g., CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, DealerSocket).
  • •Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, especially automotive dealerships and the F&I process.
  • •Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills, plus the ability to manage territories and travel up to 60–75% within the assigned territory.
