Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end outcomes for the Lister domain, including delivery, technical health, partner data quality, and team health.
  • •Set and defend a quarterly roadmap across three pods, including what the team is not doing and why.
  • •Develop team leads by expanding scope and coaching engineers; hire, mentor, and retain a high-performing team.
  • •Stay hands-on with code reviews and drive architecture decisions for the pipeline and partner integrations.
  • •Partner with Product, Design, Analytics, Partner Success, and Finance to translate ambiguous partner/regulatory pressure into scoped engineering work.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 157,000 - 212,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years managing engineering teams of 5 or more.
  • •Experience managing through team leads or senior engineers, not just direct individual contributors.
  • •Track record building and scaling backend services and data pipelines other teams and external partners depend on.
  • •Comfort owning messy third-party integrations with guardrails, observability, and reconciliation around untrusted data.
  • •Experience with Kotlin, Ruby, and TypeScript (or willingness to learn) and building cloud-native applications, preferably on Google Cloud Platform.
