Key Responsibilities

  • •Gather and analyze financial and business information to determine creditworthiness for loan and credit products.
  • •Complete financial spreads, risk rating, performance tearsheets, compliance testing, and other portfolio monitoring and maintenance activities.
  • •Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies, including financial statement, collateral, modeling, and risk evaluation.
  • •Conduct industry and market research and distill key themes and conclusions into concise summaries.
  • •Collaborate with internal partners to create analysis for creditworthiness of clients and prospects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • •FINRA Series 79 and/or Series 63 (or other necessary combination) required or must be obtained within 4 months of hire.
  • •0–2 years of experience in an underwriting or commercial banking environment.
  • •High level of attention to detail.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
