Key Responsibilities

  • •Own technical direction and architecture for platform modernization, including OS migrations, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability.
  • •Manage delivery across systems engineering, DevOps/test infrastructure, and networking while staying hands-on with design reviews, troubleshooting, and code/config review.
  • •Develop future leaders and build an effective management and technical leadership structure to support team growth and scale.
  • •Partner with QA Engineering Manager, Solutions Engineering Manager, and India-based Product Owners to align platform work with product and quality roadmaps.
  • •Own hiring, onboarding, performance management, career development, and represent the India platform team in planning and reviews with US engineering leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •10+ years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years leading engineering teams; people-management experience is required.
  • •Demonstrated experience building and scaling a team structure, including hiring and mentoring first-layer team leads.
  • •Hands-on background in systems engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering, including reviewing architecture and debugging production issues.
  • •Strong understanding of Linux administration, automation, and cloud infrastructure, plus experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins).
