Key Responsibilities

  • •Work cross-functionally to build, test, deploy, and launch backend services that operationalize workflows at scale.
  • •Participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight and helping scope, estimate, and prioritize needs.
  • •Evaluate new technologies and approaches to streamline and improve rapid application development tooling and conventions.
  • •Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident reviews, communicating improvements and learnings.
  • •Communicate complex technical issues and solutions to stakeholders through written and verbal channels while mentoring and holding the team accountable for standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Architect, build, and operate resilient, highly available, high-scale, low-latency microservices in production with a track record of ensuring availability, fault tolerance, and performance.
  • •Proficiency designing and implementing APIs using gRPC, GraphQL, or REST, and working with relational and non-relational data stores.
  • •Strong Java, C#, or other OO programming language skills, with knowledge of OO design, concurrency, multi-threading, performance tuning, and observability.
  • •Ability to proactively explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders and drive decisions through written and/or verbal communication.
  • •Demonstrated independent ownership and effective collaboration across backend and UI/product teams.
