Job Summary

Join a rotational development program that builds future frontline leaders through hands-on work across quarry, plant, and mobile equipment operations. You’ll learn CRH’s safety culture, support production and maintenance activities, and develop skills in drilling & blasting, mine plan execution, and performance tracking (e.g., PEAK). The role also includes applying regulatory requirements, partnering with Quality Control, supporting small capital projects, and developing leadership and budgeting fundamentals.

•Operate within CRH’s safety culture and manage with safety as a core value.
•Learn aggregate operations through hands-on work across quarry, plant, and mobile equipment environments.
•Perform and support production, maintenance, and operational tasks to understand workflows and performance.
•Gain knowledge of drilling & blasting, mine plan execution, and material movement to improve efficiency.
•Develop leadership skills while supporting continuous improvement, problem-solving initiatives, and small capital projects from planning through closeout.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree preferred in civil, mining, mechanical, or related engineering or construction-focused discipline.
•Internship, co-op, or prior experience in mining, construction, manufacturing, heavy industry, or a similar hands-on operational environment is preferred.
•Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work with Management.
•Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, ethics, integrity, quality, and trust, with the ability to follow complex instructions.
•Ability to work independently and perform under deadline pressure while learning quickly in office and field environments.
