Key Responsibilities

  • •Under general supervision, support pricing of new business and renewal portfolios for Commercial Auto and develop premium/rating structures.
  • •Contribute to pricing governance activities including internal reviews, documentation, and partnering with internal stakeholders.
  • •Develop and maintain pricing models, algorithms, tools, and reporting capabilities to improve sophistication and risk segmentation.
  • •Prepare and perform actuarial analyses (trend, indications, rate impact, and related studies) with appropriate review.
  • •Assist in testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of pricing algorithms and rating tools in production environments.

Key Requirements

  • •Progress toward actuarial designation (ACAS or equivalent international certification).
  • •5–7 years of experience in the actuarial area, preferably in Personal Lines pricing.
  • •Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree OR a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • •Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
  • •Experience in auto pricing across one or more provinces (preferred).
