Job Summary

Drive payments transformation for banking clients by gathering requirements across the project lifecycle—from solution design through development, UAT, and deployment. Serve as a subject matter expert in payments, translating business needs into software requirement specifications, leading domain discussions, and providing domain inputs to delivery/implementation teams. Lead high-level business and project review meetings for payments modernization, support testing strategy, and ensure requirements are clearly understood by technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Interact with business owners, product teams, vendors, and customers to identify and deliver requirements within timelines.
•Provide content leadership in defining client solutions to business requirements.
•Project manage delivery of agreed engagement outcomes for clients.
•Lead high-level business and project review meetings for payments system modernization/transformation.
•Translate business requirements into software requirement specifications and support testing strategy, functional testing, and UAT/BAT support.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of Payments domain experience, including large payments transformation work across requirements, design, development, UAT, and deployment.
•Expertise in messaging schemas and message formats for payments systems.
•Experience conducting business analysis of payments solutions and translating business requirement documents into software requirement specifications.
•Strong understanding of global payments landscape and instruments (Direct Debits/Direct Credits) for retail and wholesale payments.
•8+ years industry experience in Tier-1 IT organizations in BFSI, with payments coverage such as SCT & SEPA Instant, High Value and Cross Border Payments, and key regulations impacts.
