Job Summary

Join a multi-disciplinary Lighting and Energy Solutions team to design, specify, and deliver lighting projects across Commercial, Urban Realm, Transportation and Infrastructure sectors. You will produce detailed layouts and drawings, engage with luminaire manufacturers, and ensure compliance with external lighting standards while mentoring junior staff in a global engineering network.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Liaise with colleagues within the Lighting and Energy Solutions team, wider multi-disciplinary design teams, stakeholders and clients.
•Production of detailed design layouts, engineering detailed drawings and support documentation in accordance with WSPs Quality Assurance and client requirements.
•Preparation of feasibility reports and technical notes.
•Support with the development of technical notes, optioneering reports and specifications.
•Engagement with luminaire, columns control manufacturers and contractors.

Key Requirements

•Proficiency in Lighting Reality, Dialux lighting design software and AutoCAD.
•Strong understanding of external lighting standards, guidance, legislation and regulations.
•Experience in lighting design from conception through to issue for construction.
•Good understanding of central management systems.
•Can work independently, and as part of a team with excellent communication and organisational skills.
