Job Summary

Join a retail financial center team as a Personal Banker Associate I. After a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, you’ll be certified to use a consultative sales process to identify customer financial needs. Proactively reach customers with approved marketing tools, cross-sell retail products, partner with teams across mortgage and small business, process teller transactions, and help drive customer experience and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers, set appointments, and conduct periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and support outside sales activities and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions, follow retail procedures, and participate in the consumer loan and bankcard process from application through closing.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Demonstrated ability to engage in sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Ability to develop working knowledge of retail policies and procedures to make sound decisions.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
