Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out cementing and allied jobs during drilling of oil and gas wells, ensuring work is performed within recommended specifications, procedures, and policies.
  • •Perform casing, liner, and stage cementation for relevant sizes of casings and liners.
  • •Execute and support pressure-related services including BOP stack testing (up to 15,000 psi) and leak off testing.
  • •Carry out acid jobs, squeeze jobs, plug jobs, retainer jobs, diesel pumping, packer and pressure pumping jobs.
  • •Operate and maintain cementing units, batch mixer, cement heads, and related equipment, including diesel pumping operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Passed at least SSC or equivalent and a trade certificate from a reputed vocational institute.
  • •Basic training in cementing in a reputed cementing school (e.g., Halliburton, Dowell Schlumberger, BJ, IDT).
  • •Basic understanding of English language.
  • •5 years of independently performing cementing services, including at least 2 years in offshore areas.
  • •Knowledge of cement additives, factors influencing slurry design, and operation/maintenance of cementing units and batch mixer/ cement head operations.
