Job Summary

Design and test RF/microwave components and phased-array hardware for active electronically steered antenna (AESA) applications. Work across subsystem and system integration, supporting production with hands-on microwave component and card testing. Lead program cost and schedule responsibilities based on experience, coordinate with other IPTs, and support proposal writing and technical presentations. Onsite in Tewksbury, MA, with occasional travel to integration and customer/subcontractor sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Design RF/microwave components and phased-array applications
•Integrate and test component-level and system-level phased-array hardware
•Provide technical direction and coordinate technical decisions as a program lead when applicable
•Support production activities with technical support
•Manage cost and schedule for a program and coordinate with other IPTs and functions (as applicable)

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s in STEM (or related) and a minimum of ten years of prior relevant experience
•Microwave/RF system, subsystem, and component analysis, design, and test
•Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics Xpedition, plus analytical tools such as Matlab
•Background designing and testing analog CCAs (including frequency conversion, AGC, amplifier and analog filter design)
•Strong hands-on microwave testing experience using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs)
