Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in designing structural elements for transportation projects including bridges and retaining walls
  • •Develop design packages and drawings using Bentley software and various bridge design tools
  • •Collaborate with engineers and designers on alternative delivery and design/build projects
  • •Contribute to warranty/inspection phases by supporting construction teams and reviewing design calculations
  • •Prepare/coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with DOT standards and client expectations

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Engineering (Junior: 2+ years or equivalent); Mid: BS + 6 years; Senior/Lead: BS + 10 years
  • •EIT Certification or PE License (preferred)
  • •State DOT experience (preferred)
  • •Experience with bridge design or retaining walls; knowledge of Bentley Microstation and Open Roads; familiarity with Bentley Suite, CSiBridge, Midas, PGSuper, MDX, VBent
