Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide birth doula support as an independent contractor within Loula’s non-exclusive network.
  • •Deliver exceptional birth and postpartum care to families referred through Loula’s matching program.
  • •Complete and maintain required training/credentialing (CPR, HIPAA, and other setup as supported).
  • •Work with Loula’s care coordination for Medicaid/commercial credentialing and administrative handling.
  • •Manage your own client load based on no minimums or visit requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Completed 16 hours of birth doula training and attended 3 births as a doula, or 5 years of doula experience with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •Be located in California to be eligible for an introductory meeting.
