Key Responsibilities

  • •Negotiate change orders and support commercial management activities throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • •Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets, and present findings and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • •Reconcile project cost changes; review contractor pricing and submissions to validate accuracy and completeness.
  • •Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders to gather status information and prepare cost reports and forecasts.
  • •Manage change control processes and cost variance reporting, contingency management, commitment tracking, and cost auditing/validation activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction discipline.
  • •5-7 years of relevant experience in cost engineering, cost management, quantity surveying, project controls, or commercial management within the construction industry.
  • •Experience supporting commercial office, corporate real estate, laboratory/R&D, industrial, manufacturing, campus, renovation, or capital improvement projects.
  • •Strong understanding of cost planning, estimating, procurement, change management, value engineering, and commercial controls.
  • •Experience preparing cost reports, forecasts, budgets, and final accounts; RICS accreditation or progress toward certification is preferred.
