Key Responsibilities

  • •Originate acquisition and investment opportunities across Asia Pacific and maintain a robust pipeline through relationships with founders, investors, bankers, and industry leaders.
  • •Identify industry trends and emerging businesses/technologies to prioritize opportunities that support Visa’s inorganic growth strategy.
  • •Lead evaluation, negotiation, structuring, and execution of M&A transactions and strategic investments across Asia Pacific.
  • •Partner cross-functionally across product, strategy, technology, finance, legal, and business teams to evaluate opportunities and drive transactions through execution and integration planning.
  • •Conduct strategic, financial, and valuation analyses; lead cross-functional diligence; and develop recommendations for senior management and executive leadership.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 10+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or a minimum of 5 years with a PhD.
  • •Strong financial acumen with experience in financial modeling, valuation, and synergy analysis.
  • •Experience overseeing all aspects of a deal from idea generation through due diligence and negotiations.
  • •Proven track record leading M&A transactions and strategic investments as a corporate development, investment banking, or private equity professional.
  • •Strong understanding of the payments, fintech, or tech sectors, with a mix of U.S. and international experience.
