Job Summary

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment at a ready-mix concrete facility to keep operations safe, efficient, and reliable. Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, mixers, crushers, screens, and material-handling systems; diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; and complete welding and fabrication work as needed. Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical diagrams, maintain maintenance records, and ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA while supporting production goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment including conveyors, mixers, crushers, and screens.
•Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement timely corrective actions.
•Conduct routine inspections to identify potential failures and recommend preventative solutions.
•Maintain and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, belts, bearings, and other plant components.
•Ensure all work complies with safety policies, procedures, and OSHA/MSHA regulations; assist with shutdowns/start-ups and keep maintenance records.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED is preferred.
•Previous related experience in the construction or materials field.
•Knowledge of plant maintenance and welding.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical diagrams.
