Lead Ripple Brazil’s AML/CTF compliance program and operationalize digital currency exchange and payments activities. Serve as the designated AML/CTF Compliance Officer, develop policies, procedures, and risk assessments, and implement risk-based KYC, transaction monitoring, and watchlist screening. Build local compliance operations aligned with Brazilian requirements, engage with regulators (Central Bank of Brazil, COAF), coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and report to senior management and the Board.

•Act as the designated AML/CTF Compliance Officer under the AML Law.
•Implement and develop Brazil compliance programs and controls aligned to inherent business risks and regulatory requirements.
•Develop policies, procedures (English and Portuguese), and risk assessments for new products/services; support registrations and authorizations.
•Build and run local compliance operations under the Head of Financial Crimes Compliance, representing Ripple before the Central Bank of Brazil and COAF.
•Implement risk-based KYC, transaction monitoring, and watchlist screening; coordinate cross-functional responses and prepare regulatory and management reports.

•Ability to present AML/CTF and sanctions topics to senior management, regulatory bodies, auditors, and banking partners.
•Ability to provide practical, strategic, business-oriented advice and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
