Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, plan, and deliver theory, practical, and refresher training courses to Technical Division levels while complying with GCAA and international civil aviation regulations.
  • •Build and update training content for in-person and online delivery through Etihad learning platforms; maintain training records for Technical Operations.
  • •Generate examination questions, review course content for continuous improvement, and facilitate timely completion of technical training competencies.
  • •Conduct technical assessments and examination invigilation, and mentor trainee engineers and junior technicians through classroom and on-the-job training.
  • •Perform maintenance certification duties as an authorised engineer and advise on training process changes to ensure quality standards, safety, and compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •A valid GCAA license and/or EASA Part 66 / ICAO type II and/or an appropriate Engineering degree.
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in aviation maintenance, with at least 5 years in technical training, assessment, and development.
  • •Recognized apprenticeship in an engineering discipline and formal technical training in at least 1 Etihad aircraft type.
  • •Certified trainer or recognized training qualification with strong knowledge of aviation regulations including FAA, GCAA, and EASA.
  • •Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology platforms.
