Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver and check bridge and structural designs in accordance with MRWA and relevant standards.
  • •Prepare and review design reports, calculations, and technical documentation, including construction drawings and specifications.
  • •Lead design elements across concept, preliminary, detailed and IFC stages.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, drainage, road design, construction advisors) to ensure integrated solutions.
  • •Mentor and support graduate and mid-level engineers and liaise with clients and approval authorities.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically 8–12 years’ experience in bridge / heavy civil structural design
  • •Sound knowledge of MRWA standards and submission processes
  • •Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g. SpaceGass, Strand7, LUSAS, Midas)
  • •CPEng or near‑chartered with Engineers Australia
  • •Strong communication skills and attention to design quality
