Job Summary

Interpret manufacturing requirements and develop and maintain Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) while supporting daily production areas with process troubleshooting and engineering changes. Drive continuous improvement to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk, automate where possible, and lower direct and indirect costs using CORE tools and data-driven decisions. Handle non-conforming material disposition with root-cause analysis and provide real-time technical support, including tooling/fixture development.

Key Responsibilities

•Interpret manufacturing requirements, develop and maintain Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs), and document manufacturing practices.
•Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting and incorporate engineering changes into MDPs.
•Dispose of non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis.
•Generate Change Requests (CRs) on technical issues related to the production manufacturing process.
•Drive continuous improvement using CORE tools and data-driven decision making to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk, automate, and reduce costs; develop tools/fixtures to improve ergonomics.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
•3+ years of previous Manufacturing experience.
•Experience interpreting manufacturing requirements and maintaining manufacturing practices/MDPs.
•The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
•Preferred: experience with cable and wire harness design or manufacturing, and automated tooling/machinery programming.
