Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to wiring harness design and interconnection solution activities, performing required hardware design work to develop hardware solutions/products.
  • •Formalize function descriptions, technical requirements, and specifications; elaborate engineering plans used to develop the product.
  • •Perform development activities as per the CHORUS 2.0 process.
  • •Support proposal and delivery work by defining harness design requirements, including testing and inspection requirements and ensuring global engineering consistency.
  • •Organize co-engineering then approve lower-level solution element/component engineering plans, including work flown down to subcontractors/partners.

Key Requirements

  • •4 to 7 years of experience in wiring harness design and manufacturing industries.
  • •Experience in wiring harness solution proposals covering interconnections, wiring, component packing, and printed circuit boards.
  • •Experience with product data packages (data files, definition files, BOM/item list, documents, components, COTS, find number, materials, processes, and standards).
  • •Knowledge of WHMA-620 or IPC-620 standards to define wiring harness design and quality requirements, plus military/aerospace standards such as SAE-AS50881.
  • •Hands-on tool experience with VeSyS2.0 wiring harness design and AutoCad, plus MS-Office (PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) and product life cycle/configuration experience.
