Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and execute test plans for P25 infrastructure (Phase 1 & 2), including trunking controllers, base stations, multisite gateways, network switches/routers, and servers.
  • •Perform deep-packet analysis of LMR interfaces (ISSI and CSSI) to ensure seamless roaming and dispatch.
  • •Conduct high-availability/redundancy testing to verify system resilience.
  • •Validate end-to-end encryption (AES-256) and OTAR software workflows for secure communications.
  • •Support basic test automation and log parsing using Python/Perl/Linux shells; collaborate with software test and customer support engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications.
  • •2–4 years in a software QA/Testing environment.
  • •Foundational knowledge of Python, Perl, and Linux shell scripting for basic test automation/log parsing; strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server skills.
  • •Understanding of IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, VLANs, and Multicast; proficiency with Wireshark for traffic capture/analysis.
  • •Ability to pass a criminal background check and lift up to 50lbs.
