Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, analyze, develop, and troubleshoot distributed large-scale production systems and event-driven cloud services.
  • •Perform Linux administration and manage a fleet of Linux and Windows VMs as part of application solutions.
  • •Advocate and implement Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code practices for reliability and repeatability.
  • •Monitor and report service level objectives and collaborate with business, technology teams, and product owners to define key SLIs.
  • •Create and maintain monitoring technologies/processes, support automation and on-call rotations, and partner with security engineers to respond to new risks and vulnerabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •3 years of experience in system administration, application development, infrastructure development, or related areas.
  • •3 years of programming experience in languages such as JavaScript, Python, PHP, Go, Java, or Ruby.
  • •3 years of mastery of infrastructure automation technologies such as Terraform, CodeDeploy, Puppet, Ansible, or Chef.
  • •5+ years of cloud and container-native Linux administration/build/management experience.
  • •3+ years of expertise with container and container-fleet orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Docker, Vagrant, etcd, and zookeeper.
