Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate International Technical Assistance (ITA) to national and regional authorities, ensuring alignment with government priorities and coherence across donor-funded initiatives.
  • •Lead establishment and functioning of a regional coordination platform at oblast level to strengthen information-sharing and coordinated implementation.
  • •Provide liaison and coordination support with national and sub-national authorities, UN agencies, international/national NGOs, and partners on health governance and recovery priorities.
  • •Support the supervisor and WHO Representative in preparation for bilateral meetings with senior government officials and international partners.
  • •Support information management, data analysis, mapping, and preparation of timely reports, briefings, and situation analyses on health governance, recovery, and reform.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s level degree in social sciences, public health, political sciences, public administration, legal affairs, or a related field.
  • •At least 2 years’ experience coordinating activities with partners, stakeholders, and donors in public health, health systems, or international development.
  • •Expert knowledge of WHO policies and programmes and Ukraine’s health governance architecture, including decentralization and the EU integration process.
  • •Direct experience collaborating in a complex international environment with UN agencies, EU institutions, and other intergovernmental organizations.
  • •Expert knowledge of English and expert knowledge of Ukrainian; intermediate knowledge of another UN language is desirable.
