Key Responsibilities

•Perform aerodynamic analyses using 1D and 3D CFD simulations to support and design aerodynamic installation of gas turbine engines, including inlets and exhausts.
•Prepare and execute engine and aircraft-level testing to validate aerodynamic performance.
•Demonstrate compliance with engine certification requirements and prepare certification reports.
•Support advanced design studies of new concepts and engine applications.
•Understand system-level concepts related to how the installation affects engine operability and performance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with at least 3 years, or a PhD specializing in aerodynamics.
•Solid understanding of aerodynamic and thermodynamic fundamentals.
•Relevant experience using commercial CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) codes.
•Knowledge of computer programs including Python, Matlab, and Fortran is an asset.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple analytical tasks concurrently.
