Job Summary

Lead a hybrid, swing-shift NOC team responsible for service assurance, troubleshooting, and performance against operational targets. Oversee production platform operations, coordinate cross-functional and vendor work, and define IT/Vendor system strategies that improve NOC infrastructure tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide direction and proactively monitor team performance to achieve daily workload and performance targets.
•Manage customer follow-up and facilitate difficult calls, including escalations related to core network jeopardy, outages, and impacts to customer service.
•Oversee center/functional group operations, including activities, performance (results, costs, methods, staffing), and adherence to budgets, schedules, and work plans.
•Lead day-to-day operations for production platforms supporting internal and external customers, and manage performance of employees.
•Define and drive strategy and implementation plans for IT and Vendor Systems and their interactions with NOC infrastructure tools and processes; coordinate cross-functionally to resolve issues.

Salary: USD 105,786 - 148,099 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent training and experience).
•6+ years of related experience with communications networks, including 3+ years of management experience over geographically diverse teams.
•Hands-on working knowledge of 911, E911, NG911, and Automatic Location Identification (ALI) database management.
•Ability to diagnose performance issues, set goals and measurements, and address deficiencies with strong customer focus.
•Strong people management and communication skills, including performance management, coaching, and escalation handling in outage/jeopardy situations.
