Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the patent portfolio and outside counsel to meet quality standards and business goals.
  • •Develop IP strategies for business and product teams to secure and protect IP.
  • •Educate and train researchers and engineers on patent and other IP issues.
  • •Counsel internal clients on IP risks and resolution strategies.
  • •Negotiate patent licenses and joint collaboration agreements; advise on open source, standards development, and IP provisions in agreements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 114,600 - 215,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. degree and active membership of the bar (any jurisdiction).
  • •Patent bar membership.
  • •3-5 years of related work experience in patent preparation and prosecution, patent licensing, and IP counseling; pre-litigation or litigation experience is a plus.
  • •Excellent understanding of software architecture and artificial intelligence/machine-learning.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to a team environment, with demonstrated passion for law and technology.
