Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full career lifecycle of direct reports, including onboarding, feedback, performance assessment, progression, and hiring.
  • •Set and drive the SRE delivery focus, reliability goals, support rotation, and on-call model aligned to company priorities.
  • •Directly manage and mature reliability practices (SLO framework, error budgets, incident response) and ensure observability coverage.
  • •Guide the platform reliability and partnerships across engineering, including collaboration with Security on threats, patching, and controls.
  • •Stay close to technical work to set direction with credibility and proactively know when to escalate issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Led an SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering team, owning growth, performance, and career progression for direct reports.
  • •Hands-on background in site reliability, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure engineering, able to review work, challenge designs, and lead during incidents.
  • •Production experience with Kubernetes (including operational realities) and AWS at meaningful scale.
  • •Experience building and scaling AI infrastructure, plus solid observability practices (including o11y principles).
  • •Infrastructure as code and CI/CD experience, such as Terraform and tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
