Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide Power Delivery project management leadership for large-scale utility infrastructure projects, ensuring task ownership, schedule accountability, delivery milestones, and contractual compliance across transmission, distribution, and substation scopes.
  • •Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, earned value, and hours/expenses; monitor risks and contingencies and ensure delivery across the project lifecycle.
  • •Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies for utility clients, internal leadership, engineering teams, contractors, and regulators, including timely reporting on status, risks, and performance.
  • •Lead technical and constructability reviews, oversee discipline-specific deliverables and execution plans, enforce QA/QC, and coordinate governance and required documentation (Risk Registers, PMP, Quality Plans, Safety Plans, Communications Plans).
  • •Mentor and provide performance leadership to assigned staff; participate in pursuits, initiation, contract negotiations, project meetings, and conduct problem/recovery reviews with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical), Engineering Technology, Physical Sciences, or related field (or equivalent A/E/C, utility, EPC, or power delivery consulting experience).
  • •12+ years of post-education experience in project management or senior technical leadership, preferably supporting power delivery, transmission & distribution, substation, or utility capital projects.
  • •Highly proficient understanding of the project delivery lifecycle across A/E/C and utility industries, including proposal development, initiation, engineering coordination, procurement support, construction execution, commissioning, and closeout.
  • •Advanced analytical and organizational skills with commercial acumen, integrating project controls, financial performance, risk management, and client objectives.
  • •Advanced proficiency with project documentation and tools, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, SharePoint), scheduling tools, and Power Delivery PM platforms.
