Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide detention-related duties including detention, processing, safeguarding, security, escort, and transport of detainees as required by contract.
  • •Maintain surveillance and control of detainees to ensure order and discipline, including enforcing detention facility rules and regulations.
  • •Remove detainees from holding areas using proper restraints and security measures; guard detainees during hearings, transport, and medical care.
  • •Carry and maintain authorized intermediate weapons and required equipment, including inspecting, maintaining, and caring for firearms, restraints, ballistic vests, and radios.
  • •Complete accurate transportation and processing logbook entries and conduct security and sanitation checks and full vehicle inspections before and after transportation routes.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 1 year of security, law enforcement, or military experience, or a 4-year accredited undergraduate/graduate education as substitution.
  • •US citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident, with residency in the U.S. for the last five years.
  • •Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and pass criminal background and consumer credit checks.
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance and pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • •Hold required licenses (valid driver’s license/CDL for certain passenger transportation and Florida armed security G license; ability to obtain Florida security guard D license).
