Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in preparing concept designs for mechanical sub-systems with reliability, robustness, and mission-critical performance in mind.
  • •Create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings for mechanical components including plastic injection molded parts, die castings, and sheet metal.
  • •Set up and maintain accurate bill of materials (BOMs) and release mechanical prints through PLM systems.
  • •Provide on-site support for prototype assembly and pilot production runs to identify design improvements.
  • •Perform mechanical verification tests (e.g., thermal cycling and water ingress), document results in formal test reports, and compile technical documentation for manuals and assembly guides.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • •Proficiency generating 3D CAD models and 2D drawings; experience with PTC Creo or Solidworks is preferred.
  • •Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, metal stamping, and PCBA assembly.
  • •Ability to clearly present conceptual ideas and technical data to the engineering team.
  • •Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural or heat transfer applications (academic projects acceptable).
