  • •Manage a technology area (such as server administration, technical security management, performance management) or a customer group with limited risk and complexity.
  • •Implement changes and solutions to fulfill customer requirements and meet organizational IT infrastructure demands within technical responsibility.
  • •Conduct research on inefficiencies and inaccuracies in departmental methods and procedures, then implement improvements.
  • •Maintain proactive system administration, including system updates, patches, enhancements, log monitoring, and system hardening.
  • •Direct daily work activities of teams providing onsite services, ensuring data center service-level commitments while maintaining facility safety, integrity, and appearance.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
  • •Typically 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in maintenance, quality, or a related field, or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
  • •Ability to use technical expertise to manage a technology area (e.g., server administration, technical security, or performance) or a customer group with limited risk and complexity.
  • •Experience establishing and maintaining proactive system administration (system updates, patches, enhancements, log monitoring, and system hardening).
  • •Working knowledge of Active Directory, system administration, and operating systems in support of IT infrastructure needs.
