Key Responsibilities

  • •Staff the client intake channel during your shift, triage requests, and own first response within committed service levels.
  • •Diagnose and resolve incidents across the Cloudflare stack, qualify monitoring alerts, act via runbooks, and escalate early according to the escalation matrix.
  • •Execute production configuration changes under formal change control (four-eyes validation and rollback planning) and support client go-live windows with active monitoring.
  • •Maintain Cloudflare configuration as code using Terraform with version control, including investigating and resolving configuration drift.
  • •Deliver proactive engineering work (audits, false-positive analysis, cache/rate-limit calibration, DNS/certificate hygiene, unused-rule cleanup) and support root-cause analysis for major incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in network, security or cloud operations, ideally in managed services, NOC, or SOC environments.
  • •Solid understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, proxies, caching, and CDN mechanics.
  • •Practical Cloudflare experience across WAF, DDoS mitigation, rate limiting, bot management, CDN, and DNS (funded certification expected if partial).
  • •Ability to use diagnostic tools including curl, dig, traceroute, browser developer tools, and HAR analysis.
  • •Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), Git/version control, and scripting with Python or Bash.
