Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the functional roadmap and API-SOA strategy for the Enterprise, including input into processes, policies, standards, and operating plans.
  • •Provide engineering input into the overall architecture of API/EAI/SOA solutions.
  • •Design and build transformations of integration streams (including B2B-EDI and XML) into internal and external system formats, working with business analysts, project managers, and customers to refine requirements and document designs.
  • •Support detailed reviews of design and code to maximize reusable modules, minimize impact to existing applications/systems, and ensure high overall quality.
  • •Participate in production support rotation: advanced problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support and 24x7 on-call rotation for Mission Critical applications.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, and minimum 5 years related experience, or equivalent experience.
  • •Advanced knowledge of API, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • •Advanced development knowledge in Apigee API Management, Axway API Gateway, or equivalent, and basic understanding of an Enterprise Service Bus such as Oracle SOA Suite.
  • •Experience interfacing with technical and nontechnical staff across organizational levels; strong work ethic and ability to drive issues to completion.
  • •Development experience with J2EE, XML, HTTP, JMS, SQL, XSLT and/or XQuery.
