Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the field engineering team on power generation construction sites with day-to-day inspection, documentation, and coordination activities under a senior Construction Engineer.
  • •Support review and management of contractor/vendor submittals, RFIs, and Field Engineering Directives (FEDs), coordinating responses with the project engineering team.
  • •Help review construction execution planning documents (e.g., lift/flush/hydro/purge plans and pre-commissioning procedures) to develop acceptance criteria judgment.
  • •Track and document construction progress against schedules and milestones, maintaining open items logs, punch list status, and change order tracking.
  • •Conduct field inspections of workmanship and adherence to specifications/drawings/codes, document findings, and support turnover/mechanical completion and commissioning/startup activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Construction Engineering (or related).
  • •2+ years of field engineering, construction management, or inspection experience on power generation, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
  • •Foundational knowledge of construction/commissioning across mechanical and/or electrical systems in industrial/power generation environments.
  • •Knowledge of concrete foundations, structural steel erection, electrical power systems installation, and/or piping & mechanical systems construction.
