Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage in bank sales processes, profile customers for opportunities, build customer relationships, participate in sales campaigns, and follow up by phone or email.
  • •Accurately open, close, and maintain customer accounts and apply knowledge from Personal Banker training manuals.
  • •Use knowledge of Old Second products to advise customers and begin learning more complex retail products such as IRAs and loans.
  • •Provide high customer service to help the branch achieve top service ratings and assist as needed with basic teller functions (checks, deposits/withdrawals, drawer balancing).
  • •Maintain operational accuracy and compliance, including training completion and working knowledge of relevant records/compliance areas (e.g., BSA/Fraud/CTR, CIP, beneficial ownership).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.1 - 29 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and experience level matching Universal Banker requirements: 1 year (Level 1), 2 years (Level 2), or 3+ years (Level 3).
  • •Must become licensed with NMLS registration within 60 days of assuming the role and meet bank training requirements.
  • •Universal Relationship Banker (Level 3): must successfully complete the Universal (Relationship) Banker Cross Training Development Plan (or equivalent experience).
  • •Demonstrated dedication to excellent customer service and professional communication.
  • •Basic understanding of banking, check processing, credits and debits, plus math and computer proficiency.
