Job Summary

Technical lead for the propulsion subsystem across TAS satellite product lines, owning work packages from early trade studies through Phase A–E and in-orbit support. Lead propulsion subsystem/equipment activities and provide technical progress reporting, interface with customers, PMO, AIT teams, suppliers, and other disciplines. Establish and manage the propulsion subsystem TRD baseline, run trade-offs, define integration and test plans, and develop analysis tools using EcosimPro, Excel, MATLAB, and Python.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the technical lead for the propulsion subsystem on TAS satellite product lines across Phase A–E, from early trade studies through in-orbit support.
•Lead work packages and studies to ensure engineering delivery on time, to cost and quality, and provide regular technical progress reporting.
•Own propulsion subsystem and equipment activities (EP and/or CP) and act as the primary technical point of contact for propulsion in MAIT and Architecture interfaces.
•Interpret mission/system requirements, establish the baseline Technical Requirements Document (TRD), run system-level propulsion trade-offs, and present subsystem design justification at major reviews.
•Establish integration and test plans and requirements; support manufacture and AIT activities; manage anomalies/non-conformances and prepare subsystem analysis reports using specialized fluidic analysis tools.

Key Requirements

•Degree-level qualification in a discipline associated with space engineering (e.g., aerospace, mechanical, propulsion, systems engineering) or related subjects (e.g., physics).
•Solid understanding of systems engineering principles and the project lifecycle (Phase A–E).
•Experience working in a multi-discipline engineering environment and interfacing with customers, PMO, AIT and/or suppliers.
•Direct experience in space engineering, particularly with propulsion systems.
•Experience with analysis tools such as EcosimPro, MATLAB, Python and/or Excel for fluidic/performance analysis.
