Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and manage safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • •Prepare monthly accident summary reports and assist with incident investigations.
  • •Conduct and/or coordinate employee safety and environmental training; organize safety training (e.g., fork truck, lockout) and provide new-hire safety orientation.
  • •Perform daily safety walks, identify and correct workplace hazards, and assist with risk assessment and emergency procedure/drills.
  • •Assist with OSHA 300 logs and reporting, workers’ compensation reporting, chemical inventory/SDS updates, incident reporting, and required first responder/Safety Committee tasks.
