Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and maintain electrical power circuits and equipment and control/automation systems for pipeline, compressor stations, terminals, pump stations, and measurement facilities.
  • •Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment with required documentation.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance and inspection/maintenance (I&M) checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, auxiliary equipment, and control systems.
  • •Identify and correct safety and environmental concerns and work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory/tariff requirements.
  • •Maintain electrical switchgear and power distribution, perform engine/compressor/pump analytical testing, support facility grounding systems, and install/analyze/repair security/intrusion systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Two-year Associate Degree in job-related technical training or equivalent work experience.
  • •Working knowledge of National Electric Codes and ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
  • •Proficiency with electronic test instruments and applying common electrical measurement instruments to interpret results.
  • •Knowledge of process controls and gas processing fundamentals and experience preparing drawings of electrical circuits.
  • •Maintain a valid driver’s license (and may need a commercial driver’s license) and be able to respond to callouts/emergencies within 30 minutes, including nights/weekends.
