Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a senior assurance lead and technical escalation point for complex, non-routine fund accounting matters across mutual funds, ETFs, and complex products.
  • •Apply independent judgment to assess accounting, operational, and control issues and ensure proper treatment per regulatory guidance, GAAP, internal policy, and risk expectations.
  • •Execute SQP tools (issue log, open items, KPIs, sentiment indexes) to drive strong outcomes at third-party administrators (TPAs).
  • •Provide expert review and challenge over NAVs, financial statements, distributions, and regulatory filings to ensure accurate, consistent application of accounting standards.
  • •Drive process enhancement and innovation through automation, data analytics, exception-based review, and improved use of fund accounting systems and the ABOR data platform globally.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8–10 years of progressive fund accounting, fund oversight, or assurance experience with strong mutual fund exposure and experience with ETFs and/or alternative or complex products.
  • •Advanced knowledge of accounting, operational, risk, and control requirements across diverse fund structures and operating models.
  • •Strong technical expertise in NAV calculation, pricing, reconciliations, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and third-party administration oversight.
  • •Demonstrated experience supporting audits, SOX controls, assurance reviews, and regulatory examinations for complex/non-standard investment structures.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA or CFA (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
