Provide independent oversight and technical guidance for fund accounting across mutual funds, ETFs, and complex products. Drive a scalable assurance framework through risk monitoring, governance practices, and SOX/audit readiness. Lead adoption of automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to improve risk detection, efficiency, and reporting using the ABOR data platform.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a senior assurance lead and technical escalation point for complex, non-routine fund accounting matters across mutual funds, ETFs, and complex products.
•Apply independent judgment to assess accounting, operational, and control issues and ensure proper treatment per regulatory guidance, GAAP, internal policy, and risk expectations.
•Execute SQP tools (issue log, open items, KPIs, sentiment indexes) to drive strong outcomes at third-party administrators (TPAs).
•Provide expert review and challenge over NAVs, financial statements, distributions, and regulatory filings to ensure accurate, consistent application of accounting standards.
•Drive process enhancement and innovation through automation, data analytics, exception-based review, and improved use of fund accounting systems and the ABOR data platform globally.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8–10 years of progressive fund accounting, fund oversight, or assurance experience with strong mutual fund exposure and experience with ETFs and/or alternative or complex products.
•Advanced knowledge of accounting, operational, risk, and control requirements across diverse fund structures and operating models.
•Strong technical expertise in NAV calculation, pricing, reconciliations, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and third-party administration oversight.
•Demonstrated experience supporting audits, SOX controls, assurance reviews, and regulatory examinations for complex/non-standard investment structures.
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA or CFA (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
