Key Responsibilities

•Ensure show and ride equipment maintains the highest safety standards in line with Universal specifications and applicable standards.
•Provide technical guidance and vendor management for design, fabrication, and day-to-day installation, testing, and adjust activities in the field.
•Oversee technical coordination across project team members, vendors, subcontractors, and other third parties focused on scenic systems.
•Create scope of work documentation and award contracts based on quantitative requirements; enforce show/ride technical and safety principles.
•Advise, coordinate, and remain accountable for engineering quality and status of show/ride systems, including risks; participate actively in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in an applicable technical field (e.g., Technical Theater, Architecture, Set/Scenic Design, Building Construction) or equivalent demonstrated experience.
•Experience in theme park-specific technical/engineering roles supporting scenic elements (e.g., scenic facades, rockwork, themed concrete plaster, artificial foliage).
•Required experience managing vendors with significant in-field installation experience for show/ride systems.
•Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical/diagram form and manage complex variables.
•Strength in schedule analysis and contract management, with comfort influencing major decisions with tact and diplomacy.
