Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver VT design and supervision services across built-environment projects, ensuring robust, code-compliant solutions.
  • •Conduct traffic analysis using VT simulation and performance-analysis software to evaluate elevator behaviour, optimise system efficiency and validate design assumptions.
  • •Develop technical design proposals and reports that articulate engineering rationale, system selection, calculations and client-facing recommendations.
  • •Provide comprehensive site supervision, including inspection and acceptance testing of VT installations, coordinating with local authorities and client representatives.
  • •Review and approve specialist contractor submissions, including shop drawings, as-built documentation, method statements and training materials.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; strong VT industry experience considered.
  • •Minimum 12 years’ proven experience in VT design, installation, testing and commissioning across complex built-environment projects.
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; ability to coordinate VT interfaces with IT, ELV and security systems.
  • •Working knowledge of EN81 codes and ASME A17.1.
  • •Strong leadership, communication, and on-site, flexible-hour capabilities.
