Job Summary

Manage and monitor credit quality for a commercial real estate (CRE) portfolio by evaluating risks and opportunities, underwriting new credits, and maintaining up-to-date risk ratings. Partner with relationship managers, treasury, and regional credit leadership to support underwriting quality, portfolio administration, delinquencies, collateral exceptions, and portfolio reviews. Prepare credit actions for senior loan committee presentations while mentoring credit analysts and supporting growth of fees, deposits, and portfolio revenue.

Key Responsibilities

•Own primary responsibility for credit and monitoring of commercial portfolio risks, including underwriting quality and ongoing risk grading.
•Manage delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base, portfolio reviews, and specialized reporting for assigned loans.
•Manage a portfolio of commercial customers in partnership with the relationship manager, maintaining regular visibility in customer relationship management.
•Prepare and present proposed credit actions in written analysis and verbally to the Senior Loan Committee as needed.
•Work in a team environment, participate in special projects, mentor Credit Analysts, and support trends/opportunity analysis and market knowledge.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree.
•1+ year commercial credit experience.
•3+ years experience as a portfolio manager and/or in credit analysis.
•Ability to evaluate and mitigate commercial portfolio business risks and opportunities per established policies.
•Knowledge of commercial cross-sell products with potential credit exposure (preferred).
