Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute commodity strategies for OEM commodities across electrical, electronics, instrumentation, and electro-mechanical categories.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with assigned OEM suppliers and measure/track supplier KPIs for cost, quality, delivery, and lead time.
  • •Identify alternate sources and ensure continuity by mitigating supply risk, including end-to-end supplier qualification and risk mitigation.
  • •Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with suppliers and oversee qualification processes and compliance with standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, ISA, UL, CE).
  • •Act as final escalation point for supplier issues, resolve systemic supply chain problems, and evaluate cost structures and market trends for cost reduction.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •Indian citizen with a valid passport and ability to travel to Asia, Singapore, China, and USA.
  • •10+ years of experience in manufacturing, strategic sourcing, category management, and/or project management (relevant certifications preferred).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in any field of engineering.
  • •Experience in procuring equipment from OEMs and leading large-scale commercial negotiation with large suppliers.
  • •Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP and Power BI (SAP & Ariba RFQ tool is an added advantage).
