Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements including SaaS, technology, outsourcing, software licences, NDAs, and variations.
  • •Partner with internal stakeholders and supplier managers to integrate legal requirements and support timely project delivery.
  • •Evaluate strategic and regulatory risks (e.g., data protection and outsourcing requirements) in collaboration with legal specialists.
  • •Supervise and mentor junior team members on contract negotiation, legal research, and workload management.
  • •Maintain stakeholder relationships, monitor legislative changes, manage outside counsel, and uphold contract policies and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified solicitor with substantial post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial law.
  • •Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts, ideally with in-house or financial services experience.
  • •Strong practical knowledge of data protection law and experience navigating emerging risks such as AI terms, IP, and TUPE.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing multiple workstreams and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
