Job Summary

Lead operations for Mashreq’s settlement and interchange processing across Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and CUP cards, ensuring smooth claim and settlement flows as well as accurate accounts maintenance. Manage daily association settlement balancing, reconciliation, and corrective actions, and deliver quarterly operating certificates. Provide coaching and training to the team, ensure compliance with operational manuals and regulatory procedures, and drive process improvement, digitization, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor associations’ settlement and funds position, balancing and reconciliation, and take corrective actions daily.
•Prepare and submit accurate quarterly operating certificates to associations and analyze expense/income trends to alert stakeholders on pricing variations.
•Provide coaching and feedback to the team and ensure compliance with bank compliance and regulatory procedures, with adequate staff training to achieve zero errors within expected TATs.
•Monitor UAE switch system reports for balancing and reconciliation across countries under the role’s purview.
•Ensure transactions are processed per SLA, manage MER/KRI/RCSA and reconciliation reporting timelines, maintain standard operating procedures, and drive digitization/process automation targets.

Key Requirements

•Around 7+ years of experience in banking and testing.
•Sound knowledge of general banking with good experience on cards domain.
•Hands on experience in working in Prime Platform/Flexcube system.
•Sound knowledge of association systems, visa/mastercard on line, association pricing and interchange computation.
•Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, including client communication and people management.
