Key Responsibilities

  • •Platform Infrastructure: Build and maintain platform infrastructure using declarative IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi), ensuring environments are reproducible, version-controlled, and auditable, while meeting latency, error rate, and availability targets.
  • •Incident Response and Post-Mortems: Act as first-line responders for critical system incidents; triage, diagnose, and resolve production issues quickly; drive blameless post-mortems and implement preventative measures as code.
  • •Tooling & Automation: Own the stack of tools for operational excellence, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/logging/tracing to provide deep health insights.
  • •Observability Management: Implement and manage robust monitoring, logging, and tracing to support application and infrastructure health.
  • •Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Partner with product development teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that accelerate productivity and time-to-market.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have hands-on experience applying core DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to manage, monitor, and scale production systems.
  • •Must have a deep understanding of the SRE mindset, including SLO/SLA creation and monitoring, error budget management, toil reduction, and post-incident review (blameless postmortems).
  • •Must have expertise in one or more major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including network configuration, security best practices, compute services, and managed services.
  • •Must have in-depth knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (K8s), including designing, deploying, and managing clusters, and understanding networking, storage, and security within Kubernetes.
  • •Must have proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Typescript, Go, Python, Rust) and proven experience developing automation scripts, services and pipelines to manage infrastructure, deployments, and operational tasks.
