Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee loan closing operations, including trade detail review, signing loan documentation, AML/KYC, and wire movements to fund trades.
  • •Manage daily processing and workflows for paydowns, rollovers, and interest payments across multiple systems, including escalations and technology pain points.
  • •Lead daily reconciliations and controls by reviewing completeness of activity across trade order systems, agent banks, accounting platforms, and downstream systems.
  • •Own relationships with platform providers and outsourced service providers, including access rights, SLAs, contract terms, and validation of activity performed on SIM’s behalf.
  • •Provide guidance and hands-on leadership to the loan operations team, support client and internal due diligence, and stay current on regulatory and market practices while improving and automating processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • •At least eight years working with bank loans operationally, including at least three years in a people manager or team lead role.
  • •Strong leadership skills and knowledge of the bank loan trade lifecycle from an operational perspective.
  • •Technical knowledge of broadly syndicated loan processes, best practices, and regulations, including syndicated loan documentation (LSTA).
  • •Ability to improve processes and create efficiencies using technology, with strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
