Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and operate secure, resilient, scalable network solutions across cloud and hybrid environments with focus on availability, latency, and disaster recovery.
  • •Own and continuously improve edge-security controls including cloud WAFs, network firewalls, proxies, load balancers, and traffic-routing policies that protect APIs and internal services.
  • •Define, tune, and maintain WAF/firewall rules and traffic flows; reduce noise and false positives while preserving protection against attacks.
  • •Build observability for HTTP/HTTPS and network health using logs, metrics, dashboards, alerting, and traffic analysis to detect performance degradation and security events early.
  • •Drive automation and incident response using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD; execute DR procedures, coordinate controlled failovers, and lead postmortems and remediation.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid hands-on experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting cloud networking in production with high availability and security requirements.
  • •Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, DNS, routing, NAT, load balancing, proxies, VPN/IPsec, and network troubleshooting.
  • •Practical AWS networking experience including VPC, subnets, route tables, Route 53, load balancers, Transit Gateway, VPC peering, security groups, Network ACLs, and AWS Network Firewall.
  • •Experience managing WAFs and/or edge-security controls; familiarity with multi-provider environments is a plus.
  • •Infrastructure as Code and automation experience (e.g., Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible) with integration into CI/CD workflows.
